You should always look ahead because there will be times when you realize you should not have done a certain action. For example, you will have to wait a while before you can do quest 21 if you already cleared out all the grass beforehand.

I don't see a couple of quests that I have on here. I don't know where they fit into all this, but I'm level 25 if that helps. I also didn't get the Dairy Ranching quest yet. Although after the Geese quest I have, 12 cows is nothing.

I can't figure out where to get down feathers. I figured the geese but I have had them for 2 weeks now and all I get is poo! I'm trying to craft a blanket.
you can get feathers from the goose collection.. try collecting from your friends geese as well.. and you can get them from collecting the eggs and feathers from the chicken coop, but you may have to build more than one, (but not finish them all.. just the one.) and you will need to do that for another quest as well.. you will need 4 of each egg.

I am stuck on A Thorny Problem. I have let my land go to ickyness waiting on the thorns to reappear so my child can clear them. Is there some way to get it going faster? It has been almost a week and I don't let my neighbors clear the land due to needing "deep forest". Any help would be great.
thorns show up around the top right corner make sure you clear away buildings and other stuff you might not even need to have trees in that corner thorns should show up soon.
all I know is you can buy them (using horseshoes) in the "special" section under the market. I think they cost 8 shoes each.

Yo u get the wool coat from while harvesting sheep, you have to create the clothes in the cabin with cloth and coins. the food you just have to have 400 but will sadly loose it when you complete the quest. Actually all the items are gone or used when you complete the quest.
After you clicked purchase in the market did you click again on your frontier to actually place the cow? If you didn't or it didn't register then it never purchade it for you.

don't use your food, save it up. if you use it, then it doesn't count, you need to save up just like coins.
I had almost enough food, then noticed it was gone too. I just figured out why. Every time you go to the store and buy a meal, it uses up your food. I wish I had noticed this earlier because my food went down to 21. Now I have to start from scratch again. And no more buying meals from the store for energy until the kid gets enough food to finish that quest. Poor Adopted Benji. We have been blaming him for the food crisis when it was our fault the whole time!
I've completed every lesson in the school house and yet the quest says I have not. I can not get the quest back. What do I do? Has this happened to anyone else?

You need to own 5 pair of cloths, not actually wear them.
make 5 shirts silly in your cabin. You will need cloth coins and ribbon.
He doesnt actually wear them, you just have to "collect" that many. If I recall correctly you make clothes in either the cabin or shop.
i am stuck on the kids quest to will catus and throns regrow if i do not clear anything
the five clothes part is crafting clothes inside the cabin. you just need to have 5 clothes.
I have finished all the goals and all the lessons. Waiting patiently for new goals etc.

I am stuck on the "A Thorny Problem" Quest… I have been waiting about 5 weeks now for thorns to come back to my land but not 1 has turned up even when I let it over grow for days… & there is no way I am going to buy the with horseshoes at that price… can anyone help me out with what to do? all ideas are welcome

the same thing happened to me. it went away because you completed it. you still go the bonuses but you just didnt get notified. I find it happens when I have too much going on with my computer.

put oak trees and pine trees n a section and let it grow grow grow what i did
Clear the top corner of everything. Thorns should grow within a day or two.
To craft a crib you have to go in your barn and use sawhorses and ribbons, it tells you above how to make the sawhorses and what you need for that

I've been trying for three weeks to get thorns and cactus to grow. I have cleared and left open half my ground. I get wild flowers trees and grass but that is it. Any ideas?

Is anyone else totally annoyed by the constant pop-ups of Jack? Good Lord, every time I do anything at all, there he is. I've lost items because I can't get him off my screen and he is forever telling me to go and help people on their homestead who don't need or want help at all.
How do I minimize this annoyance?

In "get ready for baby" you have to visit 25 neighbours, but when I go to my neighbour's frontiers it is not appearing on the goal. Do I have to do anything in particular when I visit the friend's frontier?
i cant get past a few quests i cant find any ribeye for my teacher been feeding ox's for two weeks now and cant find peanut shells.. i know i need a ground hog for that but i planted 20 peanuts waited for days and got nothing!
Where do you come across the welcome mat? I know it’s in the collections but you have to find it somewhere….
