It has been pretty evident over the past few days that many Frontierville users are really dissatisfied with certain aspects of the game because it feels like Zynga is abusing their monetizing rights. Yes, they are a real business. Yes, they need to earn money in order to survive but seriously? Is it necessary to make the game that much harder for users who cannot afford to spend real money and that much easier for those who can take their credit cards out?

Frontierville going a bit too far with money

Let’s have a look at a few examples. Check out the marketplace. A light snack only gives you one energy. A few days back, it would have gave you 25. If you want to unlock the more expensive items then you can do so by using up your horseshoes. However, horseshoes are so important for other aspects of the game and it is hard enough to get horseshoes in the first place.

I have heard that there are a few Frontierville users who already have an energy level of above 100 at level 8 because they could afford to purchase beef jerkys with real money. Zynga developers… I know you probably won’t ever read this but please be aware that you are harming the user’s playing experience by making the game so much harder for the kids with no credit cards in their hand.
